The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Forms the "Digital Economy Committee" Chaired by Fahd Al-Mousa
The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce announced the launch of the Digital Economy Committee and the appointment of Mr. Fahd Al-Mousa as its chairman, as part of efforts to enhance the tech business environment and develop the digital infrastructure in Syria.
The new committee is tasked with a package of pivotal strategic mandates, focusing on the following points:

Strategic Digital Transformation: Contributing to drafting the national strategy for digital transformation and unifying digital economy references in coordination with relevant authorities.

Digitization of Government Services: Supporting the conversion of government services into digital formats to simplify procedures and improve the experience for citizens and investors.

Infrastructure Development: Providing consultations to develop telecommunications networks and national data centers.

Cybersecurity: Enhancing cybersecurity and protecting commercial data in accordance with international best practices, laws, and standards.

Capacity Building: Qualifying and developing national capabilities and skills in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
