In a step reflecting the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce's commitment to empowering young talent and building a more vibrant economic future, the Youth and Entrepreneurs Council held its first meeting. The session was attended by Mr. Alaa Al-Ali, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, and Dr. Anas Al-Bo, Head of the Foreign Relations Committee and Board Member of the Federation, alongside the council's president and members.The meeting served as a foundational milestone to outline the council's workflow and future vision. During the session, its objectives and mandates were reviewed, emphasizing its role as a national platform that connects youth and entrepreneurs. It aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and open new horizons for partnership with major corporations, thereby enhancing the business environment and stimulating economic growth.The attendees also discussed the council's operational mechanisms and executive plans. They stressed the vital role the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce will play in supporting it and enhancing coordination with chambers of commerce across various governorates to unify efforts and expand the scope of youth-oriented initiatives. Additionally, the meeting addressed opportunities to build partnerships with European organizations to leverage their expertise and programs in supporting entrepreneurship and developing youth capabilities.Participants confirmed that the council will adopt a flexible and innovative business model that aligns with youth aspirations and responds quickly to their needs. This will be achieved by launching practical initiatives and qualitative projects that contribute to finding solutions for economic and societal challenges while fostering a culture of innovation and creativity
