Buildex exhibition in Lattakia .. And important development projects on the table in a workshop
A workshop was held in the Engineers Syndicate Club - Lattakia Branch, under the patronage and presence of the President of the Syndicate of Engineers, Dr. Ammar Al-Assad, in cooperation with the Arab Group for Exhibitions - "Buildex Exhibition".
At the beginning of the workshop, a video clip was presented to the audience, discussing the situation in Syria and the devastating effects of the war on all economic sectors and infrastructure for various public and private institutions, in addition to the Syrian success stories, including the Buildex exhibition, which stopped for 9 years, to return today again in 2020 And prove himself as he was previously the most important exhibition specialized in the construction sector in Syria.
The workshop dealt with a number of lectures by specialized engineers, including: a lecture by the Odyssia Tourist Project by Engineer Samir Jerji, a lecture on agricultural projects (Al-Bireen Project, a biofertilizer plant, a juice factory project) delivered by Eng. Shehadeh, and a lecture on the project of the New Engineers Syndicate Building. Implementation delivered by Eng. Zaid Khair Bey.
In the details, Eng. Samir Jerji talked about the importance of the Laudicea Tourist project, which is of a 4-star level and is of high specifications in the building materials that will be used in it, as work is currently being done on covering the chalets of the project, explaining that the project consists of two parts: a separate tower and chalets and includes cafes and restaurants And commercial shops, terraces and all shops and activities that carry an entertainment nature, stressing that this project will constitute a distinct architectural renaissance and different from any other project in the province of Lattakia.
Eng. Raoa Chahoud, one of the designers of the new Engineers Syndicate building project, also spoke about this important project of 17 floors, in which the designers are keen to apply the elements of modernity in its construction by taking advantage of the specifications of green architecture and the use of solar energy in the facades to illuminate the offices within the building by choosing glass facades Especially, which helps to save energy, while the estimated cost of the project depends on the cost of the materials used in the construction, noting that it will soon be done by excavating the foundations of the building in cooperation between the contractor and the engineers.
As for the engineer, Miss Shehadeh, the head of the Agricultural Economics Department in the Directorate of Agricultural in Latakia, she talked about the accomplished projects in the Directorate of Agriculture and economic feasibility studies for projects of the citrus, olive and animal production sector, noting the importance of the multi-purpose juice factory to benefit from the full investment of the citrus fruit, in addition to benefiting from the resulting waste About the era and its use in industry, also pointing to the importance of the "Al-Birin" factory, whose products are used in the manufacture of soap and heating cubes for poultry, plastic tools and pressed wood panels.
The Marketing, Media and Public Relations team at the Arab Group for Exhibitions - Buildex exhibition visited a number of companies working in the field of construction and cladding, including Shamra Cables Company and Zenobia Marble Factory, where company directors showed great interest in the return of Buildex as the most important exhibition specialized in the construction sector in Syria.
