Chairman of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Receives Invitation to Attend Tashkent International Investment Forum
The Chairman of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Alaa Al-Ali, received an invitation from the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum scheduled for next month. The invitation was delivered by the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Kuwait, Ayubkhan Yunusov, during his meeting today with Al-Ali at the Federation's headquarters.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. The meeting was attended by Dr. Anas Al-Bou, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee at the Federation; Amer Al-Homsi, Director General of the Federation; Ikboljon Ergashiv, Economic Counselor at the Embassy; and Mohammad Kharnoub from the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two parties also reviewed the outcomes of the Federation delegation's visit to Uzbekistan last February. They emphasized the significance of the Uzbek economic delegation's visit to the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce this week. The Chairman of the Federation highlighted the value of this visit in following up on the Tashkent meetings and building upon the reached understandings, noting the Federation's full readiness to provide everything necessary to advance bilateral cooperation between the two nations
