The last stage in Syria has witnessed a huge turnout by Syrian, Arab and foreign engineers on the idea of reconstruction, from here came the idea of the launch of this conference, to promote the image of the future Syria, the post-war and destruction Syria and what it takes to return, so we focused on engineering sciences and the use of technologies worldwide. It is necessary to use modern engineering and development to contribute to reconstruction after the war.
Lattakia governorate hosted for the first time the scientific conference of engineering and contracting entitled (engineering cities requirements and constraints) in the resort of Lamira, for two days (31 October - 1 November 2019) under the patronage of Mr. Governor of Latakia Ibrahim Khader Al-Salem and organized by the Astarte Foundation for Exhibitions and Conferences.
The conference included six sessions and 21 lectures focused on aesthetics and their role in city engineering, human resource management, contemporary theories in city planning, modern technologies in construction and design, investment and real estate development and real estate insurance.
The conference emphasized the academic education and the international standards followed in the Arab and foreign countries, including the LEED system.
The conference discussed the enhancement of the use of BIM methodology in aesthetic design and its role in linking structures to their coordinates, calculating thermal transfer coefficients that help in calculating electrical loads by estimating future energy consumption, and using optical modeling as a tool for genetic algorithms to select The perfect solution for some designs and achieve the conditions of green buildings.
Supporting experiences and enhancing digital knowledge for the design and construction of city management were discussed. (Technical - administrative - digital .. etc)
A lecture was presented on (performance management using measurement and motivation of human resources), a field study in the General Company for Engineering Studies, which relies on the company to have a distinct role in the reconstruction phase as the first consultant to the government.
The conference stated the preparation of infrastructure for real estate development and financing of real estate projects, and the declaration of real estate development and its importance and reliability.It is noted in all global markets rely on real estate marketing and not only residential buildings, but are three tourist activities, which include hospitals, hotels and industrial.
