In a seminar on the book «The man who did not sign»

On the occasion of the publication of the book “The Man Who Did Not Sign”, a seminar on the book was held with the participation of Dr. Buthaina Shaaban, Political and Media Advisor in the Presidency and Mr. Ghassan Ben Jeddou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Mayadeen Media Network, in the main lecture hall of Al-Assad National Library. Cultural events accompanying the 31st Book Fair.
In her speech, Dr. Shaaban said: The white paper and the pen are the real challenge in writing, the first word, the first line and the first page is the basis of the work we do, when I write a book I like to read, no doubt that others will love to read it. About the founding leader Hafez al-Assad, it took me a long time to think and courage to write this book, which would not have been possible without the support of President Bashar al-Assad.
Dr. Shaaban added: When I decided to write about the founding leader, I did not expect that the minutes of the hearings carry all these treasures of confidence and dignity, and I was surprised how the former founding leader of his era and think for decades to come and fixed the wrong, no matter what the price and whatever the risks due to situations Take it.
Dr. Shaaban talked about the documentary film, which bore the name of the book itself, which was produced by Al-Mayadeen TV in 12 parts and deals with forty years of the history of Syria and the region, and said: I adopted honesty and tell the truth, and I knew that we may face serious problems because we say truth and truth, and when I saw the documentary All the witnesses, friends, foes and enemies, found that no one was able to overturn the incident, or part of the record we quoted. This is the prize for honesty with the event and the situation. We write our history repel We will win on the ground and defeat terrorism, but we do not attach importance to recording, documenting and communicating it to the other.
Ghassan Ben Jeddou said: “We are honored to announce this book, which is a documentary documentary of the documentary we saw on Al-Mayadeen TV. I honestly say: No one in Damascus knew that we were making this film in which only four people worked. Syria and about the person of the late President Hafez al-Assad and that era of the history of Syria and the Arab world pushed us to ensure that there are witnesses, and talked about the basic direction is the Arab-Israeli conflict through Syria.
Ben Jeddou added: But why this book basically? I say: because we honestly promise that the late President Hafez al-Assad is a par excellence who is a man of peace, negotiations and really stubborn.
Ben Jeddou continued: When I read the book before working on the documentary, I knew that we were talking about a state of national institutions and a deep-rooted national ideology.
