The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, represented by its Director General, Mr. Amer Al-Homsi, participated in a consultative workshop organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates alongside German development partners (KfW, GIZ, and BMZ). This participation comes within the framework of strengthening the commercial sector's role in development dialogues and supporting economic recovery and sustainable development efforts.The Federation's representative took part in the session dedicated to local development and economic recovery. During his intervention, he highlighted the pivotal role played by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in creating job opportunities through supporting and empowering the private sector. He pointed out the importance of vocational training programs in qualifying youth and enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market, in addition to boosting the capabilities of male and female entrepreneurs through specialized programs that help them establish sustainable projects
