Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Forms the "Exhibitions and Conferences Committee" Chaired by Firas Shammas
The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce has issued a decision to establish the "Exhibitions and Conferences Committee," announcing the appointment of Mr. Firas Shammas as its chairman. This step aims to develop this vital sector and enhance the presence of Syrian products and companies both locally and internationally.
Seven main tasks have been defined for the committee to implement:

Developing a strategy to advance the exhibitions and conferences sector: in alignment with international standards, enhancing Syria's role as a hub for business and investment.

Organizing and sponsoring economic, commercial, local, and international exhibitions, conferences, and forums: in coordination with relevant authorities.

Attracting specialized exhibitions and events to Syria: and encouraging the participation of Syrian companies in foreign exhibitions.

Building partnerships and cooperation with exhibition and conference organizers: as well as Arab and international chambers of commerce and economic federations.

Preparing an annual agenda for economic events: and specialized exhibitions to serve development and investment priorities.

Supporting the promotion of Syrian products and industries: through specialized exhibitions, markets, and economic forums.
