The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry accompanied the Syrian Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) as it launched its new institutional framework and upgraded visual identity. The event was held under the attendance and sponsorship of Dr. Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar, Minister of Economy and Industry, with the participation of Dr. Mazen Deirawan, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, Mr. Asaad Kajoun, Vice President of the Federation, Eng. Mohammad Ayman al-Molawi, Secretary-old of the Federation, Mr. Iyad Beitinjaneh, Executive Bureau Member, and Mr. Imad Taha al-Qasim, Board Member, alongside several economic and industrial figures.The launch of the new identity coincided with the inauguration of the SSMO's Single-Window system, which aims to simplify administrative procedures, accelerate certificate issuance processes, and improve the quality of services provided to both the commercial and industrial sectors.In a press statement, the President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry emphasized the critical role of standard specifications in industrial operations. He noted that these standards must be accurate, precise, and aligned with international specifications to ensure quality, fairness, and competitiveness. He highlighted that standards are fundamental and touch the very core of industrial work, stressing the vital importance of collaborative efforts between the government and the business sector to achieve the best results
