The Chairman of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Alaa al-Ali, discussed today at the Federation's headquarters with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Damascus, Mr. Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. The meeting was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Federation, Eng. Essam Al-Ghariwati, and Mr. Adnan Al-Wais from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.The meeting covered areas of cooperation in the banking sector, food, and textile industries, in addition to developing joint action in specialized exhibitions, digital transformation files, reconstruction, and the cement industry. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening ties and expanding networking between businessmen in both countries, paving the way for signing a cooperation memorandum between the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.The Chairman of the Federation expressed the Federation's readiness to provide everything that supports the development of economic relations between businessmen and investors, calling on Bahraini businesses to invest in Syria, particularly in light of an encouraging investment environment that offers broad opportunities for mutual cooperation
