Iraq wants to contribute to the reconstruction of Syria through the cement industry
The President of the Association of Cement Manufacturers in Iraq, Nasser Idris Al-Madani, said that investment in the cement sector with friendly countries is just around the corner. It is important for the economic interest of both countries.
He added: «Iraq has a surplus estimated at 10 million tons of cement, and we hope to deal with the Syrian side to contribute to the reconstruction of Syria», noting that there is a real and serious intention to cooperate with Syria in many areas that establish an important investment stage for both countries.
For his part, the Director of the organizing company for the cement forum Gabriel Ashhab; the importance of coordination between the various stakeholders in the cement sector from manufacturing to implementation, pointing out that this will contribute to meet the requirements of the companies operating and the requirements of the creation of new companies.
