The Lattakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, headed by Mr. Anas Deeb Joud, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and in the presence of board members, received a delegation from the Syrian Sovereign Wealth Fund, headed by Eng. Mohammad Mostat, Director of the Fund's Public Relations Department. The meeting aimed to discuss prospects for joint cooperation to support the business environment, enhance the investment climate, and stimulate economic development in Lattakia Governorate.At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Anas Deeb Joud welcomed the delegation, stressing the importance of building effective institutional partnerships between the Chamber and the Syrian Sovereign Wealth Fund. He noted that such partnerships would enhance the competitiveness of the business environment, support investment, and contribute to implementing development projects that serve the private sector and the national economy.For his part, Eng. Mohammad Mostat reviewed the vision, strategic goals, and pillars of action of the Syrian Sovereign Wealth Fund, along with the most prominent initiatives and projects it implements to support the national economy, boost investments, and achieve the optimal utilization of national assets.Furthermore, Dr. Ihsan Bouadakji, General Manager of the Integrated Engineering Industries Complex (IMPC), presented a briefing on the complex's role in developing engineering industries. He highlighted its key projects and initiatives aimed at supporting the industrial sector, boosting national production, and raising the competitiveness of Syrian industry.The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the Lattakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Syrian Sovereign Wealth Fund. It also stressed developing partnerships that contribute to supporting industry, improving the business environment, and enhancing the investment climate, which will positively reflect on sustainable economic development and attract more investment projects
