The Lattakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry continues its institutional activities to support the business environment and strengthen economic cooperation. The Chamber’s Board of Directors held a meeting chaired by Mr. Anas Deeb Joud, Chairman of the Board, and attended by the board members. The meeting addressed several administrative, organizational, and economic files, followed up on the work of various committees, and discussed topics that contribute to developing the Chamber's services and enhancing the investment climate in the governorate.Following the meeting, the Chamber received Mr. Mohammad Saeed Sheikho Al-Kar, First Vice President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and President of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of boosting cooperation and coordination between Syrian chambers of commerce and exchanging expertise to support commercial and industrial activities and serve the business community.On the sidelines of today’s activities, Mr. Anas Deeb Joud, accompanied by Mr. Mohammad Saeed Sheikho Al-Kar and Mr. Mohammad Shammout, Executive Director of the Chamber, alongside members of the Board of Directors, participated in the closing ceremony of the First National Entrepreneurs Conference in Syria. The event was held in Lattakia Governorate in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Nidal Al-Shaar, with broad participation from entrepreneurs, government representatives, and the private sector.The conference served as a platform for exchanging expertise, showcasing pioneering experiences, discussing means to support innovation, empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and strengthening partnerships among various entities supporting the business environment, thereby contributing to building a more productive and competitive national economy.The Lattakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry reaffirms its commitment to ongoing cooperation with various economic institutions and active participation in national initiatives that support investment and entrepreneurship, serving both the commercial and industrial sectors and contributing to sustainable economic development
