Mr. Anas Joud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lattakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, accompanied by several board members, attended the launching ceremony of the first tourist cruise from Lattakia Port to Beirut, Larnaca, and Mersin on board the ship "Cedar Waves", owned by the Lebanese Abou Merhi Cruise company. This project aims to revitalize maritime tourism and boost tourism activity in the Lattakia Governorate.The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of the Lattakia Governorate, the General Authority for Land and Maritime Borders, and the Ministry of Tourism, represented by the Minister of Tourism, Mazen Salhani. It was attended by numerous official, economic, and tourism figures, representing a significant step toward developing the maritime tourism sector and opening new horizons for investment and related services.Mr. Anas Joud emphasized that the launch of this maritime tourist line represents a qualitative addition to the governorate's tourism product.
