New Facilitations for Company Establishment and Commercial Registry Issuance in Syria
The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade issued a circular containing new facilitations aimed at simplifying procedures, accelerating company establishment, and improving the investment and business environment. The clauses of the circular are as follows:

01 Unifying the work mechanism across all company departments and commercial registry secretariats in the governorates.

02 Company departments and commercial registry secretariats are required to register the company, issue its establishment and publication decisions, and grant it the commercial registry for the first time, immediately upon submission of the basic documents.

03 Not suspending the issuance of the commercial registry on obtaining the approvals and licenses necessary to practice the commercial activity.

04 Excluding activities related to the Ministries of Interior, Defense, and Energy, in addition to activities subject to the control and supervision of regulatory and guardianship authorities.

05 Granting stakeholders a grace period until the renewal of the commercial registry to complete all procedures with the Ministry of Finance and its affiliated entities.
