To strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the two sisterly countries, Mr. Alaa Al-Ali, Chairman of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, and Mr. Mohamed Choucair, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, signed a joint cooperation memorandum. This initiative aims to develop economic relations and expand trade and industrial cooperation paths between economic actors in Syria and Lebanon. This step comes within the framework of supporting direct communication between both sides through the exchange of information, vitalizing economic visits and missions, and opening new horizons for joint action.The memorandum stipulates the development of trade and economic cooperation between both parties, the advancement of the communication network among their members, and the promotion of available market opportunities to help boost trade exchange and stimulate joint economic activities. It also includes organizing meetings and seminars, encouraging participation in international and specialized exhibitions, exchanging technical and training expertise, as well as resolving trade difficulties through mediation and arbitration mechanisms
