Syrian Federation of Chambers of Commerce Discusses Investment Horizons and Reconstruction with Syrian-Turkish Holding Company (STH)
Mr. Amer Al-Homsi, Director General of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, and Mr. Mohammad Ghazal, Director General of the Economic Studies and Research Center at the Federation, held a meeting at the Federation’s headquarters in Damascus with a delegation from the Syrian-Turkish Holding Company (STH), represented by its Director General, Mr. Diya Qaddour. The meeting aimed to discuss available investment opportunities and provide the necessary facilitations for upcoming projects.
Vital Projects in Infrastructure and Development
Mr. Diya Qaddour reviewed the investment group's scope of work, explaining that it focuses on vital infrastructure sectors, most notably:

Energy, Telecommunications, and Water: Through (STE) for energy and (STN) for telecommunications and internet services.

Reconstruction: Via electricity generation and distribution projects.

Developmental and Service Sectors: Including tourism, hotels, media, and managing international agencies for global products.

Geographical Distribution: The company’s projects span several Syrian governorates and regions, including Damascus, Aleppo, Latakia, and Idlib.
A New Vision for Results-Oriented Investment
Mr. Amer Al-Homsi emphasized that the investment environment in Syria is witnessing a new phase that requires transforming conferences and agreements into practical, tangible steps on the ground, stressing the Federation's commitment to supporting actual project outcomes.
For his part, Mr. Mohammad Ghazal expressed the Economic Studies and Research Center's readiness to support joint projects with specialized studies and methodical analyses, confirming that accurate data is the foundation of sound investment decisions.
Future Steps: An Expanded Conference and an International Exhibition
Both sides agreed to coordinate the implementation of two main steps during the coming period:

An Expanded Syrian-International Investment Conference: To be held within the coming months to witness the signing of agreements and the conclusion of actual investment contracts.

An Annual International Exhibition: Launching early next year to bring Syrian and Turkish companies together and strengthen partnerships between them.
It is worth noting that the meeting was attended by Mr. Khaled Alayto (Financial Director of STH) and Mr. Ahmed Al-Sheikh Ahmed (Public Relations Director of the company)
