Syrian Industry Returns to International Arenas via "Beauty Istanbul 2026" Exhibition

In a step reflecting the return of Syrian industry to international forums, the Syrian Arab Republic is participating for the first time in years in the "Beauty Istanbul 2026" exhibition. The national pavilion is organized by the Damascus and Rural Damascus Chamber of Industry, featuring several Syrian companies specialized in cosmetics and personal care. The opening was attended by chamber members Mr. Kareem Al-Khuja, Eng. Wafaa Abu Labdeh, and Mr. Anas Traboulsi.

The Syrian pavilion occupies a prominent location in Hall 7 at the Tuyap Fair Center, one of the largest halls in an exhibition featuring over 195 countries. Eng. Wafaa Abu Labdeh emphasized that this participation is a vital step toward restoring the global presence of Syrian industry, noting that the products' quality and variety attracted significant attention from visitors and business leaders on the first day.

Mr. Kareem Al-Khuja stated that this participation sends a clear message about the resilience of Syrian industry after years of challenges. He highlighted that quality and flexibility remain the key strengths of national products. Beauty Istanbul 2026, held from May 7 to 9, 2026, is ranked among the top five cosmetics exhibitions worldwide
