The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Defines the Mandates of the Transport and Logistics Services Committee, Chaired by Youssef Shaar
The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce has announced the mandates of the "Transport and Logistics Services Committee," aimed at developing this vital sector and facilitating commercial movement, under the chairmanship of Engineer Youssef Shaar.
The committee's tasks focus on seven main pillars, including:

Studying the Sector’s Reality: Identifying the challenges and obstacles facing the sector and proposing appropriate solutions to address them.

Developing Legislations: Contributing to updating regulations, systems, and procedures to improve the business environment and enhance service efficiency.

Supporting Commercial Connectivity: Enhancing transit and trade connectivity with Arab and regional countries, and working to remove obstacles limiting the flow of goods across borders.

Enhancing Competitiveness: Reducing costs associated with domestic and foreign trade movement to support export growth and business facilitation.

Raising Awareness: Promoting the importance of Multimodal Transport, encouraging its applications, and utilizing international best practices.

Preparing Studies: Providing data, statistics, and proposals aimed at developing infrastructure and logistics services.

Joint Coordination: Strengthening cooperation and coordination between public and private entities, as well as local and international bodies, to support economic development
