Following up on the ongoing cooperation and partnership with the organizing committee of the NASTEX 2026 International Textile and Home Furnishings Exhibition, the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry participated in the exhibition's activities. The event was inaugurated under the auspices and in the presence of His Excellency the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Ahmed Al-Shara, with the participation of more than 300 companies representing nearly 25 countries. Gathering under one roof, the exhibitors showcased fabrics, home furnishings, curtains, and furniture, as well as textile manufacturing machinery, equipment, yarns, raw materials, alongside digital transformation solutions and advanced industrial technologies.The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Mazen Derawan, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry; Eng. Muhammad Ayman Al-Molawi, Secretary-General of the Federation and President of the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside; Osama Al-Omar, Member of the Federation's Bureau; Imad Taha Al-Qassem, Board Member and President of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry; and Ahmad Mahdi Al-Khader and Eng. Muhammad Raafat Al-Shammaa, Members of the Board of Directors.The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry is participating with a joint pavilion in this exhibition, in cooperation with the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside and the Aleppo Chamber of Industry. This participation reflects a strong commitment to supporting the textile industry, opening new marketing channels, and networking with investors and economic entities
