The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry is participating in the "Global Academy for Social Partners," an initiative organized by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO). The Federation is represented by Eng. Ahmed Mahdi Al-Khader, Board Member of the Federation and General Secretary of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry.The academy is structured in two phases: the first is a virtual online phase running from June 15 to July 10, and the second is an in-person phase held at the ITCILO campus in Turin, Italy, from September 14 to 18, 2026.Bringing together 96 representatives from around the world, the academy focuses on engaging decision-makers in institutional policies and services related to the future of work and artificial intelligence. Discussions will center on the impact of AI on tasks, jobs, and enterprises, while enhancing the capacity to advise institutions on shaping AI governance and workforce adaptation strategies.Furthermore, the academy provides valuable opportunities for learning and exchanging best practices with peers from various countries and sectors.The Federation's participation aims to address Syria's digital transformation needs, optimize the use of AI technologies to boost productivity, foster innovation, and keep pace with rapid global advancements to maintain the competitiveness of national products
