He said that the customs campaign on smuggling continues, but it changes according to the general conditions to achieve the greatest feasibility, since the goal is to reduce the phenomenon of smuggling, noting that work is being done to activate the customs zone in the various areas that are freed through the return of customs work to them, and fix points and detachments During the last period, work has been done to restore a number of detachments and customs points in several areas, including Damascus countryside.
In parallel, work is underway to activate the detachments in Lattakia and Tartous by increasing the accuracy in dealing with the data accompanying the supplied goods, and matching them with the goods, indicating that each detachment has about 6-7 scientifically qualified elements, and have special expertise in dealing with customs data, especially Accurate translation.
