The Syrian Federation of Chambers of Commerce Prepares to Launch an International Investment Conference
The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, represented by Dr. Anas Al-Bou (Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and Board Member) and Mr. Amer Al-Homsi (Director General of the Federation), held a meeting with Mr. Qaisar Hijazin, the Secretary-General of the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. The meeting, which also included Mr. Saadallah Zaaiter (Director of European Public Relations at the Chamber), focused on exploring prospects for cooperation and developing the work of the Federation's committees.
This move coincides with consultations held by the Arab Chamber of Commerce with the European Commission to act as a mediator in organizing a regional investment conference that serves the area, similar to investment conferences previously held in Egypt and Jordan.
The discussions concluded with an agreement between the Federation and the Arab Chamber of Commerce to maintain continuous coordination to support and facilitate all means necessary for ensuring the success of the upcoming investment conference
