The activities of the "NasTex 2026" exhibition—the Syria International Textile Exhibition—launched at the Palace of Conventions in Damascus under the auspices and in the presence of President Ahmed al-Sharaa, with broad participation from local and international economic and industrial entities.The opening ceremony was also attended by the President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Alaa al-Ali, his deputies, several board members of the federation, and representatives of the chambers of commerce and industry from various governorates. The federation is participating with a special pavilion that brings together all chambers of commerce and industry in Syria, underscoring the vital importance of the textile sector, its role in supporting the national industry, empowering local producers, and expanding horizons of cooperation with partners in global markets.The exhibition aims to revitalize the Syrian textile sector and integrate it into technology, financing, and export pathways, thereby strengthening its role as a fundamental pillar in the economic recovery process. It also seeks to develop national supply chains and stimulate intra-regional trade.The exhibition is held over an area of 150,000 square meters, featuring more than 300 exhibitors from 25 Arab and foreign countries. It serves as an international platform bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, and textile industry experts, offering extensive opportunities for cooperation, investment, and knowledge exchange to support the development of the national industry and solidify its presence in regional and international markets
