Eng. Essam Al-Ghuraiwati, Vice President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and President of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, participated in the opening of the 21st edition of the Arab International Exhibition for Food Industries and Packaging, "Food Expo Syria 2026." The exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Nidal Al-Shaar, at the Fairgrounds City in Damascus, in the presence of several local and Arab economic and commercial figures.Eng. Al-Ghuraiwati emphasized that the remarkable increase in the number of participating companies this year reflects the prestigious position the exhibition has gained at the regional level. He also highlighted the vital role that food industries play in supporting the national economy, boosting Syrian exports, and opening new markets for local products.Furthermore, he pointed out that the extensive Jordanian participation, at both the corporate and official levels, represented a qualitative addition to the exhibition's activities. This participation reflected the depth of Syrian-Jordanian economic relations and the mutual keenness of both sides to expand commercial and investment cooperation to serve the interests of the two brotherly nations."Food Expo Syria 2026" is considered one of the most prominent specialized exhibitions in the food industry and packaging sector.
